Vicki L. Brinkmann, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Vicki L. Brinkmann has specialized in Human Resources in the Cleveland area for more than 25 years.  As an HR consultant for seven years, she has worked with clients in manufacturing, service, scientific research and not-for-profit industries to design HR solutions by streamlining HR processes, providing training, developing recruiting programs and designing compensation structures.  Vicki began her HR career as a Senior Compensation Analyst before taking on generalist HR leadership roles in a variety of industries including healthcare, higher education, manufacturing and banking.  Most recently, Vicki was Vice President, Human Resources for Judson Retirement Communities for nearly six years.

Vicki’s approach to Human Resources consulting relies on partnering with clients’ leadership teams to streamline their HR processes and develop customized HR solutions to enable them to grow and improve their profitability.  Utilizing her knowledge of compensation practices, she assisted a current client by designing a more effective compensation structure, rewriting job descriptions and ensuring compliance with overtime regulations.  Her expertise also includes creating and delivering training programs that improve employee effectiveness and developing mentoring programs that are customized to meet the needs of her client.

Originally from southern Ohio, Vicki came to Cleveland after completing her undergraduate degree at Miami University.  While working in Human Resources, she received her Master’s of Labor Relations/Human Resources from Cleveland State University, graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA.  Since that time, Vicki has also obtained certification as an SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) from HRCI and SHRM-SCP.
